ACHA HEALTH FOUNDATION 

The ACHA Health Foundation proudly supports Ashford, Flinders Private and The Memorial Hospitals through providing much needed funds for medical equipment, facility upgrades and education programs. 

The Foundation is an incorporated body and is a registered charity that qualifies for donations to be tax deductible.  Three members of the ACHA Health Board of Management sit on the foundation Management Committee as well as four external members from the community.

The Foundation’s success is reliant on the generous support of individuals, the corporate sector and volunteers who not only provide financial support but also their time, kindness and energy.   

Our fundraising efforts include donations, gifts in kind, in-memoriam donations, bequests, special events, corporate partnerships, corporate sponsorship, bequests and special projects. 

Recent donations made by the ACHA Health Foundation to these hospitals include: 

  • Bathroom facility upgrades

  • Comfort Patient Recliner Chairs

  • Electric Beds

  • Non-invasive Pumps

  • Patient Chairs

  • Industrial Strength Juicer

  • Living with Cancer Courses

  • Staff Scholarships for relevant courses 

In addition, the Foundation runs a community and schools education program called HEARTSMART to educate the wider community on risk factors for heart disease and what to do if someone is having a heart attack. For bookings, please contact the Foundation Office.
